Boring

Boring is a milling operation on which the cuttingtools machine metal out of a fixed workpiece. The boringtools, excentrical mounted on a turning shaft, makes a circilar movement and during this the cuttingtool moves out to a bigger diamter. Boring through is deepening an existing hole.

Boring at Boessenkool is performed with the use of a TOS WHN 13 CNC boring machine. With this machine we can perform perfect boring operation in all kinds of steel and plastics. For example on the workpiece on the picture to the left.
